Mission

Credit Development turns out to be essential for the evolution of our society since there’s no possible growth without credit.

As we study, search and improve our knowledge of Credit Risk, we will be able to raise the circuit quality, strengthening the “ bridge” by which more people and companies find the way to make their dreams come true.

Based on this belief, CMS has decided to encourage the research and analysis of Credit Risk topics by giving a special acknowledgment to individual researchers and teamwork groups: an award to be given in the setting of the Second C&C National Convention, Argentina 2004.

This acknowledgment is given at a regional level in each of the countries where the C&C National Congress is held, then it becomes an international award to be given in the setting of the C&C Latin American Congress to be held this year in October, in Mexico DF.

Latin American Credit and Collections Industry

Award committee

In each of the countries where the C&C National Congress takes place, the President of the Steering Committee presides over the Award Committee since this is the most significant event of the Industry at a national level. Therefore, the Latin American Congress Award Committee will be chaired by the President of the Steering Committee of the host country.

In both cases, the Award committee - besides the President - will be composed of:

	The members of the local steering committee, made up of well-known people of the sector, a vote per person.

	Academicians who have been specially invited to take part by the steering committee

	Registered users of www.cmspeople.com who will be able to vote online. A registered user can vote for only one work. Per valid email address, one vote will be considered (email address you have entered when registering). Those votes coming online will represent two votes of the steering committee

The steering committee may suggest possible topics so as to achieve the aim of the acknowledgment to be given. However, these topics will not set the boundaries, nor influence in the works to be chosen; they will just be considered as given suggestions or guidelines to take into account.

The Awards will be given in the Opening Session of the C&C National Congress to be held annually.
